Windows 7 as Windows 8 - [Customize]

Windows 7 as Windows 8 - [Customize]

The first thing we notice about the Windows 8 system is its appearance and unusual interface - Metro style.

Metro-style is one new UI is completely different from all previous windows. It features large fields where you can store applications, shortcuts, images, gadgets, etc. This UI is customized for Tablet PCs but there is one program made for Windows 7 systems that you can install on a regular PC and have a real Metro Style UI.

That program is called Mosaic and is intended for users of the Week who want to "get acquainted" with the Metro Style interface.

You can download the program from THIS link. At the bottom of the page is a link to download the program itself, and above are the "Widgets". Packed in a ZIP archive no installation is required, it is launched by double-clicking on the .exe icon.

Note: You must have the .NET Framework 4.0 installed to run the program

Ok, if you have started the program, on the right side of the screen you will see the Menu where you add gadgets, icons, pictures, etc.

As soon as you start the program, some gadgets will appear on your desktop that you can remove or change.

Update: In the new version, the program runs in full screen so you will only see the Metro UI, without the Start bar or icons. And you can change that in the settings.

If you want to add an animated background, see the instructions  HERE.

The difference between Sleep, Hibernate and Hybrid sleep options

What is the difference between regular Sleep mode and Hybrid sleep mode? And what is Hibernate ? I will try to explain in the simplest way possible so that everyone understands nicely. 1.
