Tired of the usual wallpaper for your computer? Then you must have looked for something more interesting and mostly came across the Dreamscene program, which is known for literally "eating" memory. In addition, you must download the multi-megabyte clips used by this program. If you still want your background to be animated, there is a better solution - The Okozo desktop.

This program offers the ability to use animated wallpapers, using Flash and DirectX technology, on newer versions of Windows, Vista, and Week. As the backgrounds are based on Flash, there are noticeable differences concerning the possibilities provided by "Dreamscene". Namely, it is possible to display content that is updated in real-time, such as clocks and calendars, as well as a wealth of data from the Internet, e.g. Weather forecasts.

An additional advantage is noticeably less resource usage, both in memory and processor cycles. It is worth noting that the application works exclusively with files of its own .ocozo extension and that you cannot load a standard SWF file.

This is done for security reasons, but if you have a Flash file that you want to use with the program, it is possible to do the conversion via the official project website.

The main user interface of the application is tastefully designed and contains only a few of the most basic items needed for normal use. Of the available options, it is worth mentioning the ability to start the program when booting, which is useful if you want the selected animated wallpaper to automatically greet you every time you turn on the computer.
