Here's what a VPN can't protect you from (but you need to use it)

The abbreviation " VPN " has slowly become established among average Internet users, which is certainly good, but the problem is that people have started to see VPN as the ultimate solution to all problems.

Short useful instructions

Short useful instructions

They ask me every day on Facebook to explain to them how to set up this, how that, where this and that is ... etc. So I decided to write an article where I will write a few instructions for these so-called "small problems".

1. Delete Skype chat history

A frequently asked question that few people know the answer to. So, open Skype, and select "Tools > Options" above. When a new window opens, select the "Privacy" option on the left. Now you will see various settings, find where it says "Keep history for" and below you have the button "Clear history".

2. Change the language on the keyboard?

Most people are confused when they see that there is no icon in the lower right corner to change the language on the keyboard. Here's a simple shortcut to change: Shift + alt.

3. Share a picture from your computer with friends

Many people don't know how to say "send me a picture". Here is a domestic service for image hosts -  dodaj.rs. Simply select an image from your computer and click the big "Add" button and that's it. When the upload is complete, copy the FIRST link from the offered 3, and send it to a friend.

4. Shorten the link (URL)

If you are at school, with a friend, at work ..., and you find a good movie, song, article, news ... and now how to remember it? There is a long link to rewrite it, so there is another great home service - skr.rs. Copy the desired URL, paste it into the large box on this site, and click 'Shorten.' The link will be shortened to only 3 letters/numbers that you can remember. Example skr.rs/eto.

5. Remove the new Facebook image viewer

Since the new way of viewing images on Facebook appeared, most have complained that it doesn't suit them (how do you fix it), and have been looking for various solutions. They would come across various applications, scripts, viruses ... Here's how to remove it without any applications, it's all in the Image Link. So when you open the image you will see a link in the address bar and at the end of the link there will be an appendix: &theater Just deletes it from the link and click enter. That would be it.

5. Facebook keyboard shortcuts

  • Alt + 1: Home
  • Alt + 2: Your profile
  • Alt + 3: Friendship requests
  • Alt + 4: Messages
  • Alt + 5 : Notifications
  • Alt + 6: Profile setting
  • Alt + 7: Privacy setting
  • Alt + 8: Facebook personal profile
  • Alt+9: Terms of Service.
  • Alt + ?:  Search
  • Alt + m:  Compose a new message

7. Windows7 - a couple of tricks

  • Hold ctrl on the desktop and rotate the mouse wheel forward to zoom in (back to zoom out)
  • Hold a window and bring it closer to the top of the screen and it will go to "Fullscreen".
  • Shake the window and everyone else will come down, do it again and they will come back.
  • Press the Win button and tab to 3D view the space. (Win button is located between ctrl and alt)
  • Hold down the Win button and click plus (+) until a magnifying glass appears.

What should you check before buying a used phone?

SIM card sizes (Mini, Micro, Nano) - explanation

Many users still complain about the size of SIM (subscriber identification module) cards. Which one goes on the phone? Can it be shortened? Can a smaller one into a larger slot? Although we are slowly switching to eSIM (more on this in this article ), we still use classic SIM cards. Newer phones usually require a Nano sizes, but operators issue SIM cards in all sizes. More precisely, now SIM cards are made so that the user can choose the size immediately, and later change it if necessary. More on that at the end of the article.
