Anonymous threatens the US Congress

Anonymous threatens the US Congress

"We will shut down Facebook in 72 hours" - a message from the largest hacker group Anonymous to the US Congress.

The group Anonymous has published a video in which it threatens the American Congress that in case all actions that are part of SOPA and PIPA are not stopped within 72 hours, it will bring down several of the most visited websites in the world.

The reason for this message is the act of closing down the Megaupload.com website by the FBI, which the Anonymous group says has nothing to do with the fight against piracy, but only with an attempt to bring the Internet under government control, and that such violent moves by the US government are not the solution. , but a problem.

An unknown voice in the clip says that the Anonymous group has access to the servers of the United Nations, Sony Play station net, White House, Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook, as well as access to millions of users of various banks and their personal data, account numbers, credit cards, and the like.

They warn that they are ready to shut down all mentioned websites within 72 hours, from the moment the FBI abolished Megaupload.com unless the US Congress stops all actions against this website and its founders.

And at the end of the message, Anonymous addresses the citizens themselves, explaining that they have no reason to worry about their data and their safety.

This message leaves many questions open;

First, is it right, if it is right, does the US government, because of its own authority, have the option at all to obey a hacker group,

Third, if the message is right and America remains consistent with its principle of not negotiating with blackmailers, will we be left without Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and other aforementioned websites on Sunday night?

Fourth, was this staged by parts of the public who are in favor of passing the SOPA to label Anonymous terrorists, or to declare them frivolous if the threat is not realized?
