It is known that one of the major flaws of Firefox is its controversy. Each open Tab takes up one piece of RAM, which is normal but can sometimes be a big problem. You can solve the problem by buying more RAM, but I believe most would change the browser itself. If you still use this web browser, here are a few tricks to speed up the browser itself.
1. Reduce the amount of RAM that Firefox uses.
- In the address bar type:about:config
- Pronadjite: browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewer
- Podesite vrednost na: 0 (zero)
2. Increase the loading speed of the page
- In the address bar type: about: config
- Set:
network.http.pipelining - true
network.http.proxy.pipelining - true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests - 10
- Right-click somewhere in the blank and select "New -> Integer", in the name field put: nglayout.initialpaint.delay
in the field "value" put 0 (zero)
3. Reduce RAM consumption while Firefox is minimized
- Type in the address bar: about: config
- Right-click on the blank and select "New -> Boolean"
- In the field, you see the type "config.trim_on_minimize"
- Select "True" and press Enter
After all the settings, restart Firefox.
