What we have been waiting for for a long time is available today for all Facebook users. Namely, FB today introduced Tickers as well as a static navigation bar at the very top.
What is a Ticker?
On the right side, on the home page, you can see a field with the latest developments such as. When someone came to chat, commented on something, liked…, etc. All notifications are updated in real-time, so you don't have to refresh the page to see the news.
Another novelty is the static navigation bar at the very top of the home page. So, when you scroll the page, the top navigation bar will stay in place. This is convenient because you don't have to go back to the top of the page to see notifications, messages, requests ... or if you want to search for something or unsubscribe. Also, Tickers stay on the right if you scroll the page.

Update:
The third novelty is the new layout of the Like button below the status. Now the Like button is in the first place, then "Comment" and finally the time for announcing the status.
