The new version of Google's JavaScript rendering engine and new security patches are part of the Google Chrome 14.0.794.0 version available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
The latest version of the browser brings improved HTTP support in several new ways, an update to the V8 JavaScript engine to version 3.4.3.0, as well as improved security when installing Web applications from the Chrome Web Store. Security changes are small but very significant as they can have a positive effect on browser security. Chrome 14 also supports DNSSEC authentication for HTTPS, features a more secure Web protocol, and provides a solution to the problem of errors that occur when used on Macs.
