A few days ago, information was leaked about the new Windows 8 logo in the Metro style, and a few days ago the Windows team presented the fundamental changes that have been made to the well-known Windows logo that has survived for twenty years, since Windows 3.1.
With the new Windows 8, Microsoft wants to emphasize its simplicity, so the new logo is simple, one-color light blue.
The new look of the logo was designed by Paul Scher, Pentagram Design Agency, whose most significant works include the Citi logo as well as packaging for Truvia sweetener.
The new logo is a customized version of the old logo that is now more reminiscent of windows - Windows.
