Google announced on its blog that it has added an automatic scanning process that is designed to keep malicious applications away from the Android Market.
The new service is labeled "Bouncer" and scans applications for known malware, spyware, and trojans. At the same time, it monitors suspicious behaviors and compares them with previously analyzed applications, says Hiroshi Lockheimer, vice president of engineering at the Android team.
After that, each application is launched within the Google cloud infrastructure to simulate how the software works on an Android device.
