Here's what a VPN can't protect you from (but you need to use it)

The abbreviation " VPN " has slowly become established among average Internet users, which is certainly good, but the problem is that people have started to see VPN as the ultimate solution to all problems.

Allods Online

Allods Online

Allods Online is a Russian game, otherwise, it is an MMORPG genre. From its creation until today, it went through many stages of development, which of course lost players, but it also brought them back with its tempting news.

Like any MMORPG, Allods Online is based on the creation of your character who starts his adventure and progresses through the quests that the game gives him constantly. The graphics themselves, in my opinion, are of good quality for that genre of games. In terms of gameplay, it is extremely monotonous in terms of progression because it is based, like every MMORPG, on constantly solving quests and killing monsters. The very environment in which the player finds himself is very well done. The music matches the surroundings and gives a convincing feeling that you are really there. What can bother newcomers is the reputation system, that is, missions that are constantly repeated and thus become boring and difficult to perform. The goal of the reputation missions is that the player will get the best equipment for his level by then.

Of course, it is possible to create a guild as in any other MMORPG game, which is quite normal. The guild of course has a function to help weaker players progress or for stronger players to defeat the strongest monsters together for the sake of rare weapons or rare equipment. When I already mentioned the fights with strong monsters, then I must mention that the game itself is based on building a ship that you use to travel through the Astral to an island where only you as a guild or group disembark and start the fight. Of course, there are more types of Astral because they are divided by levels depending on how strong the player is. Let's say, if someone is LVL 40 then Astral 1 goes until LVL 45 when Astral 2 starts, and so on.

I neglected to mention that upon starting the game you have the option to choose between nine classes for your character. Those classes are:

  • Mage: A mage or sorcerer is characterized by extremely powerful offensive magic that deals a powerful blow to opponents. Also, a mage is known for AoE attacks, ie attacks on multiple opponents.
  • Scout: A scout, that is, an archer, is characterized by extremely fast attacks on the opponent as well as attacks from a long distance, which allows him to overcome the opponent very quickly while he is not even able to attack. He is extremely vulnerable when in a close range which is definitely a disadvantage but he is known for his strong Critical hits.
  • A psionicist: The psionicist is distinguished by his great ability to manipulate an opponent by establishing a link with them and creating a copy of himself while attacking them undisturbed.
  • Warden: Warden is usually a support class but can also be used for attacks. He is good in one-on-one fights because he has an animal with him to fight for him.
  • Warrior: A warrior is characterized by extremely powerful blows that can quickly kill an opponent. His only drawback is that he hits from close range, and no one will wait for a warrior to approach them :)
  • Summoner: Summoner, or the class that can summon creatures to fight for him, is known for very good heals. He can be a support, which is more often, but he is also a very dangerous rival in battle.
  • Paladin: Paladin is nothing but a powerful tank that can take heavy amounts of hits. He serves to draw the most powerful monsters on him while his comrades defeat the beast.
  • Healer: A healer is a class that is the ultimate support. Serves as a support to teammates in battle, healing them from injuries and reviving them if they die.
  • Bard: The bard or musician is a class that can be both a support and an extremely powerful AoE class. Let's say it can double the amount of health in the tank class and thus increase the fight against bosses.

New Google mobile internet saving application - Datally

I wrote an article on how to save internet traffic on an Android device and I suggested the Onavo Extend and Opera Max apps because they were the most popular back then. Meanwhile, Opera Max has been discontinued and Onavo has been completely redesigned and is now a VPN application with the option to save internet traffic. Their compression technology is probably now used by Facebook in its application because they bought Onavo - link . Google has decided to seize the opportunity and "push" with a new application called " Datally ".

SOPA and PIPA are slowly losing support, the protest yielded results

Controversial U.S. anti-piracy laws, known by the acronyms SOPA and PIPA lost the support of eight members of Congress after major protests by the Internet community. Support was denied, among others, by Marco Rubio of Florida, a rising star of the Republican Party, and his party colleague Roy Blunt of Missouri - who were among the signatories of the bills.

How to change IMEI number on Android phone?

IMEI is an abbreviation of "international mobile equipment identity" and each mobile phone should have a unique IMEI number. You cannot change this number with the operator, but you can temporarily change it on your device. It allows the operator to accurately identify your device and thus enable/disable network services. Also, you can use the possibility of changing the IMEI number, at least for a short time, if you know exactly what you want, but I leave those ideas to you because this is an educational article.

Twitter is celebrating its sixth birthday

Exactly six years ago, one of the founders of Twitter posted his first tweet - " just setting up my twttr ". Although the popularity of this service was modest in the first few years, today Twitter has over 500 million users who send tweets, and messages 140 characters long.

Mobile Browsers

The Internet on mobile devices is becoming more popular and has more and more users. As mobile internet expands, so do mobile browsers. Although the devices themselves already have built-in basic internet browsers, new browsers are constantly appearing. The reason is that each of the programs brings something new and useful. For example, Opera Mini is most popular on older phone models that use Java applications, while on Android platforms Chrome , Firefox ,  Dolphin , and xScope are more represented.
