Few people do not at least sometimes check the weather forecast either on television or on the Internet. Almost every day, before going to work or leaving the apartment, most of us check what the weather is expected to be during the day and in the following days.
Of course, a weather forecast is, as the term itself says, still only a forecast, which may not always come true. The forecast for today is generally well predicted by meteorologists and only sometimes a major surprise happens, but the multi-day weather forecast is often not fulfilled because it is based on statistical data from previous years and decades, as well as on the forecasted movement of air masses that are observed through satellite images and other meteorological methods.
In our country, without a doubt, the most relevant site for current and long-term weather data is the website of the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute at http://www.hidmet.gov.rs/ The site is very extensive and detailed, on it you can find current weather data for all major cities in Serbia, as well as three-day, five-day, monthly and seasonal forecasts. In addition to weather data, there is also a water level forecast, biometeorological forecast, UV index forecast, etc.
All of this is useful and necessary, but perhaps too much information for the average user. In our opinion, the RHMZ website is quite confusing and unclear, the data is often presented as if it were for professional meteorologists instead of interested visitors who are interested in the weather forecast.
The site Vremenska prognoza Beograd at www.tvereskaprognozabeograd.com is based on this idea, to display current weather data clearly, simply, and transparently, and yet to be as accurate as possible. This site downloads current weather data directly from the RHMZ website and displays them in a way that, in our opinion, is much more transparent and clear for visitors. This results in the best possible weather data presented more merely.
In addition to Belgrade, you can also find data for other major cities in Serbia on the website www.tveresprognozabeograd.com. Realistically, most people are most interested in weather data for the city they live in. Therefore, it may be more practical to display only data for one city on one website, and not all data for all cities on the same page, as is the case on the RHMZ website.
Apart from these two mentioned sites, many other internet presentations offer information about weather data for cities in Serbia and around the world. We would single out these two, for the reasons we have stated, and we invite you to recommend other sites that you visit to get information about the weather forecast in the comments on this text.
