How to find a phone if it is muted?

How to find a phone if it is muted?

It happens to all of us that we forget where we left our phone, and when we try to call it, we remember that the sound remains muted. What then? Don't worry, if you have Android then no problem. There are two methods to solve this problem:

  1. Offline option (requires phone preparation)
  2. Online option (requires internet connection)

The first method is better if your phone is not connected to the Internet (WiFi or mobile), but you need to install and set up the application first. The second method does not require any phone preparation, which is a plus, but it does require the phone to be connected to the Internet. I will show you both methods.

Offline option

  1. Install the free Clap to Find the app
  2. Launch it and tap 3 times
  3. Confirm and adjust the options if you want the volume and sound of the ringtone
Clap to find app

Now you need to put the phone in silent mode and when you tap 3 times the phone will start ringing.

If you don't want to clap, then I recommend the application  Treehouse - Ring My Droid. This app will make your phone ring under any conditions when you send it an SMS with a specific code. You can set a keyword, say "find phone" and when the phone receives that SMS (sent from someone's phone) the application will start ringing.

Online option

  1. Go to https://www.google.com/android/find and sign in to the G account you're signed in with on your phone
  2. Select your phone from the list
  3. Click "Play sound"

The phone will now ring as if someone is calling you, and when you locate the phone you can stop the ringing. In the same way, you can lock the phone remotely if it is connected to the Internet.

How to Decode a Mobile Phone

How to Decode a Mobile Phone? For many owners of new mobile phones that come with a subscription package from one of the mobile operators, this is an important issue. Many get the phone at a symbolic price of 1 dinar and do not intend to use it in the network in which they signed the contract . The problem is that such phones are always locked to the network they are from, and cannot be used in another network.

SIM card sizes (Mini, Micro, Nano) - explanation

Many users still complain about the size of SIM (subscriber identification module) cards. Which one goes on the phone? Can it be shortened? Can a smaller one into a larger slot? Although we are slowly switching to eSIM (more on this in this article ), we still use classic SIM cards. Newer phones usually require a Nano sizes, but operators issue SIM cards in all sizes. More precisely, now SIM cards are made so that the user can choose the size immediately, and later change it if necessary. More on that at the end of the article.
