Here's what a VPN can't protect you from (but you need to use it)

The abbreviation " VPN " has slowly become established among average Internet users, which is certainly good, but the problem is that people have started to see VPN as the ultimate solution to all problems.

Galaxy S6 Edge + review [images + video]

The Galaxy S6 edge plus appeared a few months after the edge model and features, among other things, a larger screen that is, of course, curved on both sides.

So we have a Super AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 5.7 ″  and a resolution of 1440 × 2560 px. The fourth-generation Gorilla Glass is in charge of screen protection, but also the back of the phone.

On the back, we have a 16 Mpx camera that can record in 2160p resolution as well as 1080p in 60 and 720p in 120 FPS. In addition, the camera can take HDR images and recordings, capture images from two cameras at the same time, detect faces and smiles, create panoramic photos, record stereo sound, and more.

On the front, we also have a secondary 5 Mpx camera that also has HDR, and takes pictures and recordings in 1440p resolution. In addition to the camera, we also find a front speaker as well as a light sensor, and a Proximity sensor. At the bottom is the main button with a fingerprint sensor and capacitive navigation keys.

At the bottom, we have the main speaker, USB, and charger port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and of course the primary microphone. And upstairs we have a secondary microphone and a SIM card slot. On the left side edge we have buttons for adjusting the volume, and on the right side edge only the power button.

The design of the phone itself is really good. Samsung decided to keep the combination of the aluminum case and the glass on the back. Although the phone is quite large, the curved screen makes it look narrower and thinner. The back of the device is completely flat and has a mirror effect, only the camera protrudes a few millimeters, but it fits nicely in terms of design.

In terms of specs, the Edge Plus is not much different from the Edge model, in fact, it only has 1GB more RAM. So we have two quad-core processors: one 1.5GHz and one 2.1GHz. 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory that we can't expand because the device doesn't have a memory card slot. And all that is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, which cannot be changed without the assistance of service.

Among the additional features, the Galaxy S6 edge + has a digital compass, accelerometer, barometer, temperature meter, fingerprint sensor, NFC, infrared port, Bluetooth 4.1, voice control, GPS with Glonass support, fast charging, and more.

We get to the software. This device comes with an Android 5.1 Lollipop and definitely gets an upgrade to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Of course, as soon as we start the system, we can notice the recognizable Samsung TouchWiz interface. Along with the system, we also get Samsung applications such as S-planner, S-health, S-voice, and Samsung application store.

Of course, there is also a camera app with many options and modes for shooting and recording.

In short: the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus model is for all fans of larger phones that can easily meet all user requirements. The curved screen provides a lot of options and shortcuts for faster use of the phone. Of course, we can't leave out the great 16 Mpx camera with a lot of options and shooting modes.

New Google mobile internet saving application - Datally

I wrote an article on how to save internet traffic on an Android device and I suggested the Onavo Extend and Opera Max apps because they were the most popular back then. Meanwhile, Opera Max has been discontinued and Onavo has been completely redesigned and is now a VPN application with the option to save internet traffic. Their compression technology is probably now used by Facebook in its application because they bought Onavo - link . Google has decided to seize the opportunity and "push" with a new application called " Datally ".

SOPA and PIPA are slowly losing support, the protest yielded results

Controversial U.S. anti-piracy laws, known by the acronyms SOPA and PIPA lost the support of eight members of Congress after major protests by the Internet community. Support was denied, among others, by Marco Rubio of Florida, a rising star of the Republican Party, and his party colleague Roy Blunt of Missouri - who were among the signatories of the bills.

How to change IMEI number on Android phone?

IMEI is an abbreviation of "international mobile equipment identity" and each mobile phone should have a unique IMEI number. You cannot change this number with the operator, but you can temporarily change it on your device. It allows the operator to accurately identify your device and thus enable/disable network services. Also, you can use the possibility of changing the IMEI number, at least for a short time, if you know exactly what you want, but I leave those ideas to you because this is an educational article.

Wireless phone chargers - where, which and how to buy?

Wireless chargers are purchased separately from the device itself, and the user often does not know which Wireless charger to buy or where. Of course, they can be bought from us, not everywhere, but some stores sell them,  which I already wrote about .
