There are now a lot of Chinese sites like Aliexpress and Dealextreme, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for users to choose which one to buy from. I chose Aliexpress for several reasons, but I did not stop looking for and testing others. I don't use Dealextreme anymore, but I found one quite solid: GearBest. I compared a bit of Aliexpress and GearBest…
What makes GearBest better for me?
As far as I noticed, there are a lot of good discounts for technical devices so far. I took for example the Kingston microSD card of 64GB Class 10 which is at a 50% discount and costs 17 euros. Ok, there are a lot of discounts on Aliexpress as well, but they are short-lived (Super Deals of a couple of days) and these regular ones are much smaller, about 10-20%. So when it comes to discounts GearBest is a little better.
They have more warehouses, so the EU, China, and Russia can be chosen. Although, I did not always find them sending for Serbia from the EU, but only from China.
Delivery is shorter? One reader of this blog said that the package arrives much faster, in about a week, which is up to 4x faster than from Aliexpress. But that can vary, of course.
They have interesting and useful filtrations such as "Cool", "New", "Presale" and "Deals". Here you can always find something useful, interesting, new, affordable… If you do not have a gift idea, these categories are a source of good ideas.
That's where I found this computer mouse: E-BLUE EMS618
Compare option. Add some devices to the comparison and see side-by-side details.
Various points are bought faster than on Aliexpress, which are used for good discounts.
There are a few more little things that I like but it’s individual, you may not like them. It is best to visit the site and judge for yourself whether you like it or not.
As for the negative sides…
Poor search. The search on the Aliexpress site is great, I like it a lot and I use it often. The filtering during the search is not the best and that bothers me.
The site itself has not been viewed. Maybe it's up to me because I can't get used to it, it's hard to find products on the page that I was looking for among the strong recommendations and promotions. The product page is a little worse, but everything is there.
The ordering process is a bit slower in the sense of moving from several pages: basket, basic data, delivery data, and payment. It all takes a lot longer than on Aliexpress.
The page with the ordered product is scarce as far as information is concerned. Really little information, that's definitely their biggest flaw.

All in all, great discounts and points that are easy to collect are something I really like. I ordered one product, I'll see what the procedure is, so I'll order a few more if all goes well.
How can you shop there?
Basically, as on any other similar site, so similar to Aliexpress: find the product, add to cart, proceed to enter personal data, delivery address, and final payment. As far as payment is concerned, it is enough to have an ordinary payment card with a dinar account. You can read more detailed instructions in this article of mine: How to buy from Chinese sites?
