Facebook users across Europe could not access their accounts on the world's largest social network this morning.
Some immediately thought that members of the group "Anonymous" brought down Facebook because of yesterday's arrest of the leader of the hacker group LulzSec. This suspicion was removed immediately after "Anonymous" posted on their Twitter account, claiming that they did not crash Facebook.
Namely, Facebook was not available throughout Europe this morning, as well as in Africa and Asia, so it would start working again after 3 hours.
They explain on Facebook that there were technical problems that led to the interruption of the work of that social network.

It was confirmed that Facebook could not be accessed by users from:
Germany, France, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Great Britain, Albania, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Israel, Macedonia, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and Serbia.
However, some of the users could access this social network, so the first conclusion would be that the access depended on the Internet provider.
