A couple of tricks for Windows XP games

A couple of tricks for Windows XP games

We've all played some of those little games on Windows XP at least once. If you want to have fun with them, here are some tricks.

You will not need any programs to "hack" these games, everything is done with keyboard shortcuts.

I'll show you how to "hack" Pinball, FreeCell, Solitaire, and Minesweeper.

1) Solitaire :

  • If you want to win in a few seconds, follow these steps: Open Solitaire, press Alt + Shift + 2 and that would be it :)

2) Minesweeper:

  1. Stop time: Start Minesweeper, press Win + D (Win - Windows button, located between ctrl and alt), and now the game will be minimized. Maximize it and continue playing, with no time limit.
  2. Find mines: Open Minesweeper, type on the keyboard "xyzzy" (without quotes), and then hold Shift. A small white dot (white pixel) will now appear in the upper left corner of the screen. Move the cursor from field to field in the game and when that dot turns black, then you move the cursor over the mine (so the flag goes to that field - right-click).

3) FreeCell:

  • You can also win in a few seconds as in the Solitaire game. Open FreeCell, press F2 (or File > New Game) and then press Ctrl + Shift + F10. Now a window will appear where you can select three options, you click on Abort and that would be it.

4) Pinball:

  • Ball manipulation with the mouse: Open Pinball, start a new game, and type "hidden test" (without quotes, with a space). Now a ball will appear, click on it and hold it with the left click and you can move it anywhere.
  • Countless balls: just type "bmax" (without quotes)
  • First on the list: type "rmax" (without quotes) and you will be first on the rank list.
  • Million points: while in "hidden test" mode, press the letter H and a table with the results will open where you need to enter your name (or anything) and you got a million points.

SIM card sizes (Mini, Micro, Nano) - explanation

Many users still complain about the size of SIM (subscriber identification module) cards. Which one goes on the phone? Can it be shortened? Can a smaller one into a larger slot? Although we are slowly switching to eSIM (more on this in this article ), we still use classic SIM cards. Newer phones usually require a Nano sizes, but operators issue SIM cards in all sizes. More precisely, now SIM cards are made so that the user can choose the size immediately, and later change it if necessary. More on that at the end of the article.
