Here's what a VPN can't protect you from (but you need to use it)

The abbreviation " VPN " has slowly become established among average Internet users, which is certainly good, but the problem is that people have started to see VPN as the ultimate solution to all problems.

"Revive" ancestral photos with this free app

"Revive" ancestral photos with this free app

If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much is a video worth? So if the video lasts 10 seconds then it is worth 300,000 words considering that the video has 30 FPS.

Now imagine having a video of your ancestor? You'd love it, wouldn't you? Well, if you have a picture of that person, you can make a video from just that one picture!

How? Artificial intelligence!

Deep Nostalgia is a tool developed by the company MyHeritage, which is known for its service for creating and merging family trees - which I wrote about.

They made several AI tools that focused on old images. They recently created an AI tool that enhances and colors old black and white images. Now they have gone a step further and made one that converts an image into a video.

Deep Nostalgia

How does this tool work? Unlike most similar ones, this one works very simply. All you have to do is create a free MyHeritage account, upload the image and wait for the tool to download the video. The result is amazing!

The strongest feeling for me was when I watched the first video - as if that person was there, alive.

In the example above you can see what it looks like. You have more examples and frequently asked questions on the tool page itself.

They don't normally insert audio into the video for the reason that someone wouldn't make fake videos (DeepFake), but they made one purely to show what the tool can do.

If you want to "revive" the photos of your ancestors, you can do it HERE. By the way, you can process only 5 images with a free account. If you want to process more images for free, then you can use temporary mail addresses, and if you forbid it, then you can use this method.

Android TV Box - a guide to buying up to 30 euros

What is Android TV Box? This is a great solution if you want to add a " Smart " function to an existing TV . With this device, you can watch live TV online for free (later on), play games, upload all kinds of files, watch movies (from USB, over the internet, phone…), listen to songs, surf the internet, use social networks… or everything you can on your Android phone. It is usually a cube-shaped device (but it doesn't have to be) and has various inputs and outputs. It connects to the TV via an HDMI cable , but some also have an AV output over 3.5mm that goes to the familiar 3 cinches, so you can also connect to an older TV (even to SCART if you have an adapter). It is also standard for these devices to have WiFi , LAN port (RJ45), IR Remote , at least 2 USB ports , support for high definition video formats (these cheap ones often have 4K support), and usually come with a remote .

Android ROOT - programs and applications

I have already written several posts on how to root an Android device, so I decided to make one in which I will unite everything.

By upgrading the "Paradox" supercomputer, Serbia will receive in the next few months the most powerful supercomputer in the Balkans, worth around one million euros! Today, the " Paradox " supercomputer has 1,100 processors and operates at seven teraflops, which is 7,000 billion operations per second. With the upgrade, the computer will have 5,000 processors and will work at 40 teraflops, or 40,000 billion operations per second. It can currently store 60 terabytes (60,000 gigabytes) of data.
