Here's what a VPN can't protect you from (but you need to use it)

The abbreviation " VPN " has slowly become established among average Internet users, which is certainly good, but the problem is that people have started to see VPN as the ultimate solution to all problems.

Create temporary Email addresses that cannot be detected!

Create temporary Email addresses that cannot be detected!

The problem with temporary (self-destructive) email addresses is that they can be easily detected. If someone writes a script that checks temporary email addresses, you will not be able to use them on that site.

True, temporary email addresses can be very helpful because sometimes we just want to do a simple job on the site but we have to enter our email address first. Anyone who doesn't want to leave an email address just for that reason can use self-destructive ones.

I wrote about these email addresses in one of the previous articles, so read on.

How to find a temporary email address?

It is very simple:

  1. go to the DeBounce site
  2. enter a temporary email address
  3. see what comes out of you
Detection of temporary email from temp-mail.org
Detection of temporary email from temp-mail.org

They even have their own free API (which I always use) so anyone can implement this protection on their own website or app.

Many other similar services do the same and they are all very successful. I tested all the most famous services that generate temporary email addresses and they were all discovered!

The solution?

The problem with all these services is that they are too well known and have reached the "black lists" of these other services that they detect.

The solution is to create your own temporary email addresses that no one will know about!

Now, let's say Gmail offers the option to add a plus (+) and thus create a new virtual email address - more. You can use this but the problem is that you are giving your real email address again.

If you really want temporary email addresses that cannot be detected and that do not point to you, then ImprovMX is the solution for you.

ImprovMX is not a service for temporary email addresses but a service for forwarding email addresses if you do not have your own email server.

The idea is as follows:

  1. Buy a domain
  2. Connect the domain to improvMX
  3. You create email addresses within improvMX
  4. As you use an email address, delete it

This service offers you the opportunity to have up to 10 email addresses at a time in your free plan. But you will create temporary email addresses which means you will delete the old ones and thus make room for the new ones. Deleting and adding takes 2 seconds.

Instruction

You will need:

  • Money to buy a domain (770 RSD first year, 870 all next)
  • improvMX account (0 RSD)
  • Cloudflare account (0 RSD)
  • Gmail / Hotmail / something similar (0 RSD)

From the clip:

DNS settings for MX:

Type Name Mail server TTL Priority
MX @ mx1.improvmx.com 2 min 10
MX @ mx2.improvmx.com 2 min 20

(Return TTL to Auto after setup)

DNS settings for SPF:

Type Name TTL Content
TXT @ 2 min v=spf1 include:spf.improvmx.com ~all

(Return TTL to Auto after setup)

Note: ImprovMX does not read the content of your emails, they work completely transparently. More on that here, here, and here.

The Galaxy Note was ridiculed when it appeared, and now…

Did you know that the first Samsung Galaxy Note was ridiculed by users and the media? Everyone laughed at his "huge" case and said that it would fall apart immediately after it appeared. They said that it was too big and that such a phone would never be used every day.

The difference between Sleep, Hibernate and Hybrid sleep options

What is the difference between regular Sleep mode and Hybrid sleep mode? And what is Hibernate ? I will try to explain in the simplest way possible so that everyone understands nicely. 1. Sleep When you select Sleep mode , all components of the computer except RAM are shut down to store data. So, if you do something on the computer and press Sleep, the computer shuts down and everything you did (left open windows, documents, etc.) is stored in RAM.

What is GLONASS?

If you've looked at the detailed specification of an Android or GPS device, you may have seen another term next to the GPS tag and didn't know exactly what it represents. Well,  GLONASS is a global navigation system that was started by the USSR in 1976, so this project could be taken over by Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Free coding learning sites

Learning to code is something that every person turned to technology should try at least once. The wealth of online courses, where most are free or cheap, makes learning coding easier than ever.

To click on the post or not?

Recently, Facebook has been flooded with " click bait " posts, and sometimes you don't know if there is something really useful behind that post or if it's just collecting clicks. There is a plugin that can partially reveal this to you. Nothing special, it's a Chrome extension called " Photo Zoom ". What does he actually do? Enlarges the image you hover over by loading the source address of the image . How can it help? Clickbait posts often "trick" users into clicking with an image (in addition to terrible headlines). They place those pictures so that only a part of them is visible on the Facebook wall and just enough to interest your potential. If you want to see the whole thing, you have to click on the link, which is their goal.
