How to sharpen, color and clean OLD images? (AI application)

How to sharpen, color and clean OLD images? (AI application)

I like to write about artificial intelligence because I am thrilled with its results every time. I mainly follow the development of AI in the field of image processing and video, which can be seen by the number of articles on this blog.

A few days ago, I discovered an application that improves images and videos using AI, and I was pleasantly surprised by how it works.

I was primarily looking for an app that would restore an old photo I keep that is colorless, has damage, and is blurry.

The result? I can't say that I am very satisfied, but of all the AI tools I tried, this application gave the best results.

This application in the free version offers basically all the tools, and I used the following in this order:

  1. DeScratch
  2. Enhance
  3. Colorize

The only thing that bothered me was that the application only sharpens the blurred face, not the whole image. Maybe it's a mistake in my case, and maybe that's how it actually works.

I can't leave you an example of my picture here due to the privacy violation of the people on it, but you can already see from the publicly available examples that the application works perfectly.

Basically, you will need a free account (created in the app itself) and with that Free account, you have 5 free optimizations. Also, you cannot use the Enhance + tool.

What is important to note is that even with a free account, you can download the image in full resolution and without a watermark - which is a rarity.

Each image is sent to their server for processing and back to you to download. If you want, you can delete all your images from their server after processing. Just tap on your icon in the upper left corner and select "Erase all content".

SIM card sizes (Mini, Micro, Nano) - explanation

Many users still complain about the size of SIM (subscriber identification module) cards. Which one goes on the phone? Can it be shortened? Can a smaller one into a larger slot? More precisely, now SIM cards are made so that the user can choose the size immediately, and later change it if necessary. More on that at the end of the article.
