If you've been wondering how to root your phone, or maybe you should, I'll explain this in this article. Before we start, routing the phone means potentially endangering it, which will be discussed later.
The process of routing the phone itself should not be difficult in most cases, but sometimes it is. It all depends on the model. However, there is software that will try to take care of the whole process so you don't have to do anything complicated.
Important note: when you root the phone, it loses its warranty, but you can always "un-root" it and no one will know. Only the code of, for example, Galaxy phones that have Knox is different because it can not be bypassed, which means that when you root such a phone and get rid of it, a trace will remain and you can check if the phone was once rooted.
One more note: when you root the phone, you allow writing to ROM, which can potentially damage the system and the device itself! I have already written about it in detail, so read here.
And one more note: I disclaim responsibility. Everything you do, you do at your own risk. I, and anyone else, are not responsible for any consequences for you and/or your device due to the use of tools and instructions in this text. I am not the author of the tools mentioned in the text.
Ok, if you are familiar with what "Root" is, what the consequences are and you are sure you want to route the phone, then let's get started! I will write two ways to increase the probability of success.
First of all - USB debugging
To get started at all, first enable the USB debugging option in your phone as follows:
- Go to phone settings > about phone > software information > quickly press "Build Number" repeatedly
- After that, return to the settings and you will see the new option "Developer Tools", ie. "Developer Options". Get in there.
- Go down a bit and enable the "USB debugging" option. Exit options.
# 1 way to route your phone - KingoRoot
This is perhaps the most famous phone routing software and comes in the form of programs for Windows and applications for Android. I recommend using Windows tools, but if it doesn't work, you can try the application.
- Download the software from the official website - link.
- Install and run the KingoRoot software you downloaded
- Connect your phone to a computer with a USB cable (preferably original)
- Wait for drivers to install (if not already)
Note: pay attention to the phone screen, a notification may appear. You must enable the "Always allow from this computer" option.
- After the phone successfully connects to the computer, KingoRoot will recognize it and move on
- Now you will see a screen that says a warning about what happens when you route the phone, and what I wrote above
-
Click the "ROOT" button at the bottom and wait
-
In the end, the software will print whether "Root" is successful or not.
- If everything went well, in addition to the announcements in the software itself, you will also receive a new application installed on the phone called "SuperUser". Through it, you control "Root" access to applications.
- If the device fails to root, follow the instructions below.
# 2 way to route your phone - Root Genius
Ok, if you didn't succeed firstly, or you didn't even want to try that software, then try this one. You must also have the USB debugging option enabled. The process is the same, only other software is used.
- Download the software from the official site - link.
- Install and run
- Connect your phone to a computer with a USB cable and wait for the drivers to install (if not already)
-
When the software recognizes the phone, click "ROOT"
- Wait for the phone routing process to complete. It doesn't last long.
- If everything went as it should, you will see the "Kinguser" application installed on the phone, through which you control the "Root" access to the applications.
If you have not succeeded, you can read other articles I wrote earlier on the topic of phone routing:
