Now you can "throw spells" with your Android phone!

If you’ve ever wanted to throw a spell-like Harry Potter in a movie then this is your lucky day! Google in collaboration with "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" - based on the book "Harry Potter" by J.K. Rowling - created voice commands that trigger actions on the phone.

Voice commands that can be used are:

  1. Lumos - turns on the flash on the phone
  2. Nox - turns off the flash
  3. Silencio - mutes ringtones and notifications

Do you know the commands? Of course, they appear in the Harry Potter movie wherewith "Lumos" the stick turns into a lamp, and "Silencio" makes people shut up.

Now you can "throw spells" with your Android phone!

To activate these commands, you need to open the main Google application on your phone, have voice commands enabled, and say "Ok Google, command" or in the example: "Ok Google, Lumos" if you want to turn on the phone flash.

You can also tap the microphone icon to activate the listening mode, so you don't have to say "Ok Google" but just the command.

In addition, Google has announced a special Street View map made for that film, so you will have the opportunity to walk through New York in 1926. Also, a game for  Daydream View so you will be able to wave a magic wand, solve puzzles and find beasts from the movie.

To click on the post or not?

Recently, Facebook has been flooded with " click bait " posts, and sometimes you don't know if there is something really useful behind that post or if it's just collecting clicks. There is a plugin that can partially reveal this to you. Nothing special, it's a Chrome extension called " Photo Zoom ". What does he actually do? Enlarges the image you hover over by loading the source address of the image . How can it help? Clickbait posts often "trick" users into clicking with an image (in addition to terrible headlines). They place those pictures so that only a part of them is visible on the Facebook wall and just enough to interest your potential. If you want to see the whole thing, you have to click on the link, which is their goal.
