Here's what a VPN can't protect you from (but you need to use it)

The abbreviation " VPN " has slowly become established among average Internet users, which is certainly good, but the problem is that people have started to see VPN as the ultimate solution to all problems.

How NOT to speed up Android?

How NOT to speed up Android?

I read texts on various portals, which are trying to fill the Tech category, about accelerating Android devices. Mostly the same tips follow, some may write a little "more advanced" tricks. But it all actually slows down, not speeds up.

Having been using Android devices for about 5 years, I tried 1001 ways to speed up my devices. There are some really good ways, but for more experienced users, and it works, the device works faster. But here I am writing about how not to try to speed up Android.

1. Install RAM manager (cleaner, booster ..)

These programs eject the applications that are there from the temporary memory to run faster the next time. Then why throw them out? If you search on more serious forums or ask more professional people, they will answer you the same - these applications are useless.

2. Delete the Cache application

What else is a cache for? To speed up the application. Why delete? Well, the main reason is that over time, the cache fills up and slows down the device. Yes, that applies if you have a phone from 7 years ago. And yes, you can delete the cache once every 5 months, not every day or week. Applications that clear the cache are useless again and will slow down the device again.

3. Forcibly close applications that you do not use

Just to follow a logical path, a more expert does not have to tell you, if you forcibly close the application (kill), the system will need more processing power, time, and energy to run it. Doesn't that take longer than "pulling" it out of the temporary memory? That's why this temporary memory exists, as in the computer, to make the system access applications faster. Then why kick them out?

These are mostly the 3 most common tips I came across, I didn't want to read any more instructions.

Tip: use your phone normally, it exists to serve you, not you.

In one of the next posts, I will write about how to really speed up Android, but you will need a little more knowledge. Until then, you can read the posts from the "Android" category to get to know this OS a little better.

To click on the post or not?

Recently, Facebook has been flooded with " click bait " posts, and sometimes you don't know if there is something really useful behind that post or if it's just collecting clicks. There is a plugin that can partially reveal this to you. Nothing special, it's a Chrome extension called " Photo Zoom ". What does he actually do? Enlarges the image you hover over by loading the source address of the image . How can it help? Clickbait posts often "trick" users into clicking with an image (in addition to terrible headlines). They place those pictures so that only a part of them is visible on the Facebook wall and just enough to interest your potential. If you want to see the whole thing, you have to click on the link, which is their goal.
