With this procedure, you can unlock most Galaxy phones so you can use all your mobile networks. As indicated in the post title, the device must be ROOTed, if not then do not even try to do the following steps.

Also, by rooting the device, you lose the warranty if you took it from a mobile operator.

You will need:

  • ROOT device (if you do not know how to root, seek help from someone who knows or look for instructions on the Internet)
  • Busybox free application - Install
  • GalaxSimUnlock  - Download

Instruction:

  1. Install Busybox from the Play Store and launch. Follow the steps in the application.
  2. Install the GalaxSimUnlock application you downloaded - see how.
  3. Run GalaxSimUnlock. Somewhere among the data printed on the screen, you will see that to the right of "Network Lock" it is written in red letters that the network is locked.
  4. At the bottom of the app, tap "Unlock" and wait a few seconds. When it is finished, restart the phone if you are asked to do so, and if not, turn it off and on.
