Google has added face recognition technology to its Google+ service, allowing users to tag photos very quickly without having to manually enter each photo.
Users can access the new feature by creating a new photo album featuring people's faces. The system automatically groups photos for each person, and options for tagging by name or email address are also available. The company offered the ability to recognize faces through the Picasso service for years before its name was changed to Google Photos.
