If you happen to not turn on the phone, the screen is black and does not show any signs of functionality, try to do these five things.
1. Connect it to the charger
This is the first thing you should do because maybe only the battery is discharged. When you plug in the charger, wait a while to see if the charging indicator appears on the screen. If it appears, that's it, charge the battery. If it does not appear, read on.
2. Check that the charger is working
Maybe the phone is working, the battery is low, but the charger is not working, do you think it's next to the phone. Try connecting another device to the charger and changing the outlet in the house. If this charger charges other devices, read on. If the charger does not charge other devices then try another charger. If it doesn't charge your phone with another one, read on.
3. Change the battery
Maybe the battery is simply faulty. Ask someone with the same phone model to test the battery, or go to a parts store and buy/try a new one on the spot. If that doesn't help, read on.
4. Restore the Stock System
If you played with the system and after that, the phone did not want to turn on anymore, it would be best to restore the Stock system.

However, to do this, the phone must enter the Download / Fast Boot / Recovery mode. If you haven't played with the system, then it's probably not this, although it's not bad to try because if you've reached this point you don't have much to lose (there is certainly no way to restore files now).
It would be best to take the phone to someone who deals with them and tell them to restore the factory system. If the phone can boot in Download / Fast Boot / Recovery mode, then it is saved, and so are the files.
5. Dry it
If the phone gets wet and is not water-resistant, likely, it will not turn on after that. Don't even try to turn it on!
- Open the phone immediately, ie. back cover, and remove the battery
- Wipe off larger drops of water with a towel
- Put the phone and battery (separately) in one bag full of rice
- Leave it like this for a day and a half so that the rice absorbs all the moisture
- Then replace the battery and try turning on the phone
If the phone still does not turn on, have it serviced. You will get a new one, or it will be repaired if it is under warranty. If not, then you will pay for the repair.
