Here's what a VPN can't protect you from (but you need to use it)

The abbreviation " VPN " has slowly become established among average Internet users, which is certainly good, but the problem is that people have started to see VPN as the ultimate solution to all problems.

As you surf the internet your location is available on every site you visit. Basically, every site you visit knows your IP address, location, region, country. .. and much more.

You don't believe it? Just look at this link and you will see your details: https://www.find-ip.net/ip-script

If you don't already use a VPN, you can see your IP address, country, city, and region in the box above. Worrying?

The solution

The solution is mainly to connect to a virtual private network - VPN. When you connect to the VPN sites you visit they don't know your real IP address, and therefore your location (unless you allow it manually).

Below you can see in my example how a VPN hid my location and IP address:

Which VPN?

VPN is paid in most cases. But some offer a free plan. These usually have a large limit, say 1-2 GB of bandwidth per month, or sell user data.

I found one good VPN that offers as much as 17GB (and more) per month! It is a Windscribe VPN service. They have strong encryption and excellent data protection, and a bunch of other options (more on that later).

How to get 17+ GB of bandwidth per month?

Windscribe also offers a free plan that includes 2GB of internet traffic per month. However, you can provide yourself with 10 more at the start, then another 5 and another 1GB, and here's how!

1) First create a free account via my link (2 + 1GB)

When you create an account regularly you only get 2GB, and if you create via THIS link then you get 3GB.

2) Confirm email address (+ 10GB)

After you have created an account, you need to go to the email you used to create the account and confirm it by clicking on the link you see. When you do that you will get another 10GB per month.

3) Tweet it! (+5GB)

When you go to your account you have the "Tweet 4 data" button. Just click "Click here to tweet" and leave your account username. After checking, they will allocate another 5GB to your account.

4) Invite a friend (+ many)

Just as I invited you to register via my link and get 1GB per month, you can do the same. So, when someone creates a free account through your link, he and you get 1GB per month!

How to use Windscribe VPN?

It is very simple, they offer various options and tools. Go to the Download page and download the client for your system.

When you launch a client just log in to your account and that’s it! You will see how many GB you have left, the location dial, the current IP address, and the ON / OFF button to connect to the VPN.

By default, the client is set to connect to the best server for you, that is, the one with the lowest latency to have the best speed. You can definitely choose others from the list. Servers with an asterisk next to the name are reserved for Pro users.

Benefits of Windscribe VPN service

1) Excellent data encryption and privacy

Windscribe supports some of the best VPN protocols known today: OpenVPN, IKEv2, and SOCKS5. They provide AES-256 cipher encryption (with SHA512 auth and 4096-bit RSA key) for desktop applications and AES_128_GCM cipher for their browser add-on.

However, all this is worthless if the VPN provider itself keeps the logs. Windscrbe DOES NOT KEEP LOGS! Read more at this link: https://windscribe.com/privacy

2) No data leakage

This VPN also protects you from DNS and WebRTC leaks, which is not the case with other free alternatives. You can test this by activating a VPN and visiting this link: https://ipleak.net/

3) Allow Torrent

Windscribe allows Torrenting with their VPN service - more. So, if you need to use Torrent anonymously, this VPN is for you.

4) Multiple connections to a large number of systems

Not every VPN can boast of this. Namely, Windscribe allows you to log in to the same account with multiple devices. And they also offer their service on many devices: Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Kodi, Nvidia Shield, smart TVs, and even routers.

5) Additional protections

In addition to all that, they offer R.O.B.E.R.T. virus protection, AdBlock, and a kill-switch. This last option is very useful: if your connection is compressed at some point, Windscribe disconnects you from the Internet in an instant and you are safe.

6) And much more

On their "Features" page, you can find all the features that Windscribe Features has to offer.

The difference between Sleep, Hibernate and Hybrid sleep options

What is the difference between regular Sleep mode and Hybrid sleep mode? And what is Hibernate ? I will try to explain in the simplest way possible so that everyone understands nicely. 1. Sleep When you select Sleep mode , all components of the computer except RAM are shut down to store data. So, if you do something on the computer and press Sleep, the computer shuts down and everything you did (left open windows, documents, etc.) is stored in RAM.

SIM card sizes (Mini, Micro, Nano) - explanation

Many users still complain about the size of SIM (subscriber identification module) cards. Which one goes on the phone? Can it be shortened? Can a smaller one into a larger slot? Although we are slowly switching to eSIM (more on this in this article ), we still use classic SIM cards. Newer phones usually require a Nano sizes, but operators issue SIM cards in all sizes. More precisely, now SIM cards are made so that the user can choose the size immediately, and later change it if necessary. More on that at the end of the article.

[Google+] File sharing

The Google+ network brings with it a lot of new options and features that, as I noticed, users like. One of these new features is file sharing between users. Sharing takes place via chat and requires the approval of the file recipient.
