Here's what a VPN can't protect you from (but you need to use it)

The abbreviation " VPN " has slowly become established among average Internet users, which is certainly good, but the problem is that people have started to see VPN as the ultimate solution to all problems.

Official and final version of JB 4.1.2 for Galaxy S2!

Official and final version of JB 4.1.2 for Galaxy S2!

The official and final (stable) JB ROM for Galaxy S2 was delayed for a long time, only to appear a few days ago and occupy the attention of all SGS2 users.

Stable ROM first appeared in Spain where it was tested and the results were excellent. It is now available for download and anyone can install it on their Galaxy S2 phone.

About a month ago, LEAK appeared, ie. Test Roma, who had several mistakes. Also, the battery drained much faster than it should otherwise. But in this version, everything is fixed and the phone works much faster and the battery lasts longer.

Also, at LEAK ROM, everyone complained about the Bug when unlocking the phone - the phone just freezes. Now it is ironed so there is no problem. Improvements compared to ICS have remained the same: butter project, smart stay, direct call..etc.

You can see a detailed overview of JB on SGS2 in the post I wrote for Leak (because all these functions remained the same): https://do-you-know-tech.blogspot.com/2012/11/android-jelly-bean-412-for-galaxy-s2.html

Installing Jelly Bean 4.1.2 on Galaxy S2:

  1. Download the ROM from some of the following links and then unzip them to a folder so that the file name is: I9100XWLS8_I9100XXLS8_I9100FOPLS3_HOME .tar.md5.
  2. Download and run ODIN 1.85 http://ul.to/xt4607xx
  3. Turn off the phone and start it in "Download mode" (hold the volume down button, Home button, and phone power button together).
  4. Now connect the phone to USB and in ODIN a green box should appear in the upper left corner which means it has detected your phone. If it does not appear, download and install the phone drivers and restart your computer  http://www.mediafire.com/?4gwen7qlbpmeqck
  5. If ODIN recognized your phone, click the PDA button and find the file you downloaded and unzipped in the first step.
  6. When the name of the file is displayed in the field next to the PDA button, click "Start" at the bottom of the program and wait 5-10 minutes for the system to install. Then the phone will restart itself. It may take a little longer for the system to boot, but don't panic, it's just the first time.

When the phone turns on, you'll have Jelly Bean :)

Important:

If your phone does not recognize your mobile network, root your phone and install GalaxSim Unlock. Launch that app and click Unlock at the bottom of the screen. Wait a second or two and that's it.

If you can't do ROOT and therefore unlock the network, it is recommended to insert NeatRom Lite. Neat Rom is based on this JB stock ROM (WXLS8) only it is both rooted and sorted. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1569686

(Thanks @Max for the problems)

SIM card sizes (Mini, Micro, Nano) - explanation

Many users still complain about the size of SIM (subscriber identification module) cards. Which one goes on the phone? Can it be shortened? Can a smaller one into a larger slot? Although we are slowly switching to eSIM (more on this in this article ), we still use classic SIM cards. Newer phones usually require a Nano sizes, but operators issue SIM cards in all sizes. More precisely, now SIM cards are made so that the user can choose the size immediately, and later change it if necessary. More on that at the end of the article.
