SD Booster for Android

SD Booster for Android

SD Booster is an Android application that speeds up the R/W memory of the device and thus the device runs faster. The application is only for ROOT devices due to changes in parameters in system files.

Before you begin, install the SD Tools app and check the read/write speed of your phone's memory. Remember/write down the results and then install SD Booster.

When you launch the application, you will first be asked to approve it, press "Grant". You will see a couple of lines of text, one field, and 3 buttons. In the first line, it will say "Cache size (current)" and next to the red color 128. Below it will say "Cache size (kb)" and next to it enter 1024 in the field (recommendation is 1024 and maybe 2048. Try both and see how it will be phone behave in both cases). Then click "Apply".

Now restart SD Tools and run the test. Take a look at the results and compare them with the previous ones.

In my case, the write speed used to be around 8Mb/s, and the read speed was below 60Mb/s. After using the SD booster application, the write speed is 9Mb/s and the read speed is 73.1Mb/s.

SIM card sizes (Mini, Micro, Nano) - explanation

Many users still complain about the size of SIM (subscriber identification module) cards. Which one goes on the phone? Can it be shortened? Can a smaller one into a larger slot? Although we are slowly switching to eSIM (more on this in this article ), we still use classic SIM cards. Newer phones usually require a Nano sizes, but operators issue SIM cards in all sizes. More precisely, now SIM cards are made so that the user can choose the size immediately, and later change it if necessary. More on that at the end of the article.
