After Skype introduced its most popular free calling program for Windows8 operating systems, the latest version for other Windows - Skype 6.0
In this version, it can be noticed that the look itself is quite simplified, as we could have expected. Also added is the option to connect to a Microsoft account (Windows Live ID), the ability to sign in to Skype with a Live ID or Facebook account without first signing in to a Skype account, and a lot more integration of Facebook and Microsoft into Skype.
One small change you probably won’t notice right away is that they removed the number of users currently using Skype that were below the contact list. The reason for that, as they say, is to leave more space for the list of contacts. There are several other minor improvements, both visual and functional.
Perhaps the most important thing for us is the translation into Serbian and Croatian. Yes, Skype has added 6 new languages: Thai, Croatian, Slovenian, Serbian, Slovak, and Catalan.
