Watermelon prober is an Android application that will help you determine the ripeness of a watermelon in a few steps.

It works in a very simple way: turn on the application, hold the phone close to the watermelon, tap it 3 times on it and wait for the results. The results are obtained almost in a second, and you can see the complete "Report" and at the end "Result".

How does it work?

The authors state that due to the different water content in ripe and unripe watermelons, they also produce different sounds. That's why they collected and analyzed them, then inserted them into the application so that it would recognize them next time and give the appropriate results.

A really useful app if you buy a watermelon in a supermarket where they don't allow you to open it.
