Here's what a VPN can't protect you from (but you need to use it)

The abbreviation " VPN " has slowly become established among average Internet users, which is certainly good, but the problem is that people have started to see VPN as the ultimate solution to all problems.

Nokia HERE maps for Android

Nokia HERE for Android devices is a free navigation that does not use an internet connection, such as the already known iGo, CoPilot, Navigon, and similar navigations, but only GPS and downloaded maps. Nokia managed to sign a contract with Samsung, so it offered its maps to users of Samsung devices completely free of charge. However, a .apk beta file of this application, which works on all Android 4.0+ devices, has leaked on the Internet.

Bending test: iPhone 6 plus vs. Note 3

No matter how big they are, smartphones can fit in almost any pocket, especially jeans. But how resistant are they to bending? What if we squat while the phone is in our pocket? Will it burst or will it just bend? Will it return to its original state? You can find the answers in the videos below.

Washington Monument changes the position of the shadow on Google Maps

Orion Telekom - experiences (2021)

Update (27.09.2021.) For a while, everything was ok when the interruptions started - they were frequent and lasted for a long time. Namely, the interruptions happened every 10 minutes and lasted for 8 minutes, so I had the Internet for 2 minutes every 10 minutes. I called them countless times and they always switched me to someone else. They didn't want to fix it, so I sent a request to Telekom and stated that it doesn't work fixed for me (because I only have a fixed one with them, and Orion uses that line for the Internet). They came and did not know what to do, they said to buy cables and replace them around the house. They left, we replaced the cables and nothing improved. I call Orion again and so on for another month. The answer was always either "it's not up to us, call you and you" or "we don't know what it is". The problem was not solved until we replaced all the cables and the socket at our own expense, at home

How to buy from Chinese sites (Aliexpress, DX, GearBest...)

Sometimes we find cheaper goods on foreign sites, or we find something that is not sold in our country, and we want to buy. But how? Do I need a bank account? Which? What should I write? Is it safe? How am I doing? As I only shop on DX and Aliexpress , I will write instructions for them. Many people from Serbia ask me about those two sites, and I see that many of them buy there because the goods are cheap, and delivery is (mostly) free. For those who don't know, DX (DealExtreme) and Aliexpress (part of Alibaba) are probably the two most popular Chinese sites in our country. Here you can find everything from a needle to a locomotive. Why do we buy there, and not on some domestic site? Mostly the reason is the price, or simply because we found something there that we don't have.
